Monday, March 30th, 2009Well, here goes nothing. This, ladies and gentlemen, will be my first attempt at updating our spiffy new website with a blog posting containing actual pictures. I think I know enough about how WordPress works to be able to pull this off, but I still feel like I’m 16 and just given the keys to a brand new sports car. Mayhem could reign. I could know just enough to make me dangerous.
I’ve never been the sort to be timid with new knowledge; I’m a firm believer in hands-on experience when it comes to the learning curve, so let’s all hope this doesn’t turn into a roller coaster ride.
Here is a gallery of new items for March, 2009. I plan to make this a monthly feature at least, and maybe even bi-weekly (is that once every two weeks or twice a week? I always forget.) but I digress. So clicking on the link will take you to a gallery of new images. Some of you who have seen us in shows might recognize some of these pieces as being from late 2008. If so, ding*ding*ding – you win a prize! They are mostly from November-December 2008. They were held in stasis while our website was redone, waiting patiently for their turn in the spotlight. And now it’s here!

Notice anything different?
Monday, March 9th, 2009That’s right, new website! After much wringing of hands and contemplation we decided that it was time for a new look. After 15+ years without a major re-do the old site had become a sprawling, unwieldy mass of links, old pictures and archived material that wasn’t contributing to the overall experience we wanted visitors to have. So, thanks to Jake of KREKURA for taking a cyber-scythe to the weedy patch that was our internet presence.
In the next week or two we’ll have a full roll-out of the new site, with new goodies like:
*RSS feeds for our updates
*Personalized login for our wholesale and commission clients
*New categories and images
…and last but not least – more timely updates!
So, as I’ve said many times in the past – sorry for the lengthy silences on this page, but that will change. We’ve stockpiled over three months worth of updates while our website was being re-worked so we have plenty of never before seen work just waiting to be posted. And feel free to email us and let us know what you think of the new format. We’d love to hear from you.
