Jac, Last I knew I thought you were headed back to Nantucket this week. Is that still the case? Don't want to miss you when you come!

Good Morning Jac,

I still much prefer the original orientation of the design, with most of the island showing in the center and, more especially, with the nearly complete island off to the side. I think it gets across the magnification concept better. Also, the last (green) version would not obscure the anchor that's been bolted to the rock to hold the crab. (Removing the bolt would leave a hole.) So here's a thought. If you look at image 8, could you make my piece similarly with the steel (?) handle as it is, since that does not obscure the smaller, lower fossil, but make the circular rim larger so the upper fossil is not bifurcated? Maybe that would mean that the island in the middle would have to be rotated clockwise somewhat, which actually would be an improvement I think. By the way, I've removed the soot from the rocks, so the final result will look great! Let's talk by phone today? My number is ***-***-****. Again, I am sorry this has turned out to be more difficult than expected and I appreciate your patience. And if you want to delay production and ship instead, that's OK with me.

Mary,

Sorry - had these done for a few days but hadn't found a spare minute to upload them. The one in green is the way I'd like to proceed, but its your decision ;-). The others are just variations of the magnifying glass we sold at the Small Friends Show. Let me know what you think-
Thanks!

Jac,

I can't tell from this if you've been able to re-orient and scale to fireplace within the fossil constraints.
Please let me know.

Thanks!
